Guys, Does anyone know of a dealer in North America that still has the 360 racing exhaust in stock? Seems like they all cleared them out in 2014 and they are NLA. Any leads on a new or used one appreciated! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
There was a local owner this summer who mentioned he had one new in a box. Since I had already gotten mine I didn't ask for more details. I can ask around once I'm back in town next week. Send me a PM for details (how much you're offering, where you're located, etc)
Have you tried the Ferrari dealer in Tampa? Got mine from them and then shipped over. Great to deal with.
Hi sammyf is it the challenge system you want if so we have a brand new box and tail pipes in stock. pm me
Thanks Guys... Looking for this exact system for a street car: http://aldousvoice.com/2014/04/24/ferrari-360-racing-exhaust/ I'm in NorCal and if someone has a brand new or like new kit, I'd be more than happy to pay what they have into it (not looking to low ball nor am I looking to make someone rich!) Thanks, I called and they said out of stock... "Couldn't give them away and now everyone wants it" Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thanks Chairman... I PM'd Joseph. Any ideas what was diff between spider and coupe kit? I actually have a coupe (6SPD). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Other than the heat shield that is attached on the engine cover, I don't think there is any difference. Installed the spider kit on my coupe and so far no issues....best mod I've made to date...CS TCU next.....
Main difference was early on the ecu's came programmed which made them have different part numbers. Later on it was easier to sell them with blank ecu's The kits are the same with exception of heat shield to screw to the underside of engine lid. I had a coupe as well. Did not install the shield. Had a challenge grille so heat was being released. Hands down this is the greatest sounding 360 set up. If you can get your hands on this set up. Go for it. It sounds identical to a stradale. Not kind of like it. Exactly like it. Any kit will work perfectly. R
Had the racing exhaust on my 360. the dealer had to send the ecu's to NJ, I think for programming. took about a week. I'd say only the dealer
I did the same. I installed a spider version in my Modena. The dealer did have to send the ECU's to Ferrari to get them programmed with my VIN and software for the exhaust. I too did not install the spider heat shield in my Modena. It just does not fit. Probably one of the best upgrades that is available. I got mine from Ferrari of Atlanta. Call them. Great parts group. If anyone has the Modena heat shield and needs a spider version, I'd love to swap.
Is it a foregone conclusion that when installing the Stradale muffler, the two engine ECUs have to be re-flashed? The timing and fuel maps in the Stradale ECU are different, which ostensibly is the source of the horsepower increase over the base 360. Does the Stradale muffler itself contribute to significant horsepower gains or is it in conjunction with the re-flashed ECUs that the engine benefits? We see many folks exchanging their factor muffler for any number of aftermarket mufflers which all claim horsepower gains with no other modifications, and they have left their engine ECUs alone. So why is it “required” to re-flash the ECUs with the Stradale muffler?
Hey Joseph, do you still have that 360 exhaust kit without the ECU's for sale? PM me if so. Thanks, Mark
Are the dealers the only ones that can program the blank ECUs? No, the above vendor can program the ECUs as well.
