    Question,

'Flash-2-Pass' is activated by pulling back on the stalk, Correct.

If so how far backward does the stalk move?

While it’s still in the garage with the garage door closed. Turn the ignition switch on and gently pull backwards until you see the lights illuminate on the door. Mine doesn’t have to be pulled back much at all :)

Hi Mark, My car is an 81 GTSi UK version. The lights are mounted to plates that are welded to the front bumper mounts. These were factory fitted as UK required an instant "flash to pass" function for vehicles with pop up lights.

The light stalk is pulled back toward the steering wheel to illuminate, not much force or movement required on my car

Not a great pic to demonstrate their location but the only one I can find at the moment

    Guys,

    THANX for All the Answers.

Point of clarification: Are all the headlight stalks on the 308s and QVs the same or did the QVs get a mod so noticeable movement backward in the stalk became present when the circuit is completed for F-2-P?
