WANTED!

In a word, yes. I wanted a very specific car, an 84-85 red/tan euro GTB. And even more specific, I really wanted one with red carpets, not the usual tan you see in the US. I spent two years searching for one, called on a couple but nothing ever materialized.

I posted a "wanted" in FerrariAds, and a second "looking to buy" post in the 308 forum. Three hours and sixteen minutes later Lew posted about a car he knew, telling me how to find the owner. The NEXT DAY I had a PPI scheduled, and six weeks later my 308 was in my garage.

This was exactly the car I wanted, is one of less than five in the US, and it was not advertised anywhere. Posting a wanted ad was the only way I would have ever found it.

George, I have found a car but I'm interested to see what I missed!

Here's a quick search for 95 B. (admittedly only 5 of -thousands of sites-)

Cars.com has one. Repaint and needs maintenance.
