    Hello

I know this is my first post on here and I am sure that you get this all the time but please give me your input. I have had experience since I was 15 working on cars and racing my S2000. I have always done my own work. I just started Nashville Auto Diesel College and am taking the High Performance portion. I was told that Ferrari hired a few people last year. I understand that this is not a job for the average person. I understand that grades its crucial but I want to go above and beyond and thats why I will be in school almost 2 years and today was my first day. So thats why I am on here I am starting now trying to get connections and make sure that I do everything in my power to work for this company. I am a huge Ferrari Fan. I feel that this is a very very honorable and respectable job. Please don't flame this thread I am just here trying to go above and beyond.

Thank you so much for any help you can give me.

    -Eric

I did search and found some information so I was just posting as far as maybe being able to contact someone and talk to them if they didn't mind.

A good place to start, might be to contact some Ferrari dealers and see what they look for, or require, when hiring a technician.

If you have the dream, you can achieve it!

If you're interested in working on Ferraris, definitely get in touch with a Ferrari dealership. Ferrari NA doesn't typically hire many techs at the corporate level, so to at least get your foot in the door, contact the folks at Ferrari of Atlanta.

Hey Eric, you wouldn't happen to be a valet parker for a restaurant right next to Vanderbilt, would you? I met a guy parking cars (I'm a Vandy student) who said he goes to Nashville AD and wanted to work on Ferraris. Just curious if it was you.

Negative not me im currently a mechanic down the street at Firestone on Broadway....i think there are several people that would like to but i think they are under the impression that Ferrari NA is just going to shop up at a job fair...i think it might take a little more than that....you have myspace or facebook?

I'm with you all the way. I want to be either an F1 racer for Ferrari or an automotive designer. I'm not sure if a woman will be equally accepted, but that just means I'll work to my potential to show them I can be just as good as a guy. But anyway, you don't seem to be shooting for head executive, so I would say you should start at a dealership repairs place and work your way up.

Cheers to our future, no matter who it takes us up against.

Persitence. Don't take no for an answer. things change, a no today may be a yes tomorrow. You may have to start out washing and detailing. If they like you, they may send you to their school. Who knows.

Good luck and may the horse be with you. ;)

Go for it! Set a goal, believe you can do it, make a plan, follow it and get there. Starting with a call or two to FOA sounds like a solid first step.

    Good luck!!!

I've been lurking here for awhile and this is my first post as well. I would imagine Ferrari has very strict credentials on who they hire, I hope you do well.
What caught my eye is S2000, I have one as well. While I dont own a Ferrari I love sports cars and I consider Ferrari to be the ultimate sports car, but my S2k will have to do for 1/10th of the price :)
    Good luck!

E-mail the factory (if that is where you want to work). The factory is more responsive in corresponding than Ferrari North America! Those Italians love to talk?

Any way, make sure to update this thread with your results. I'm sure there are others wanting to work for such a great company, too.
