Was wondering if anyone else has heard these before. I have a 99 355F1 and I wil sit at a stoplight in neutral. Light turns green and flip into first and start to take off. Then I hear 3 warning beeps, no lights come on, transmission acts normal, but this happens everytime accelerating from a stop. Needless to say the beeps are getting annoying. Anyone know what gives???

Mine did this once and the clutch needed adjustment. Unfortunately, it's not something you can do yourself. It needs to be hooked up to the computer and adjusted electronically. It may be something as simple as it is engaging too early/late but until it is properly diagnosed it's hard to tell. I wouldn't drive it too much until you have it checked out so as not to prematurely wear out your clutch.

BTW, mine only had 35% clutch wear so it's not necessarily a warning sign that your clutch is worn out. Simple fix and not too expensive. Good luck!

That is a warning that the clutch is overheating. Most likely out of adjustment. How many miles? Has the clutch been replaced?

Now that I think about it I was around town and doing stop and go. This is the first time since Ive owned it that it did this. I have put 2k miles on it myself and my mechanic had checked the clutch and said it was good, so it's possible. I'll have him diagnose it and see where we stand.

The warning beep came on for mine when the clutch was worn. It was to the point of being able to slip it pretty much in any gear if I went WOT (not from launch obviously!) Also the warning comes on if you're in 1st for a few seconds and don't have your foot on the brake. When 1st it engaged, should either be on the gas or on the brake.
