    Hi guys,

I was doing a Google search on the 599 and hit a bad link on the first screen that contains a Trojan virus. Fortunately, it was automatically cleared by McAfee. The site was called "itwildcats.net" and I suggest you avoid it in future.

So that you guys don't get caught out too - even if you hopefully have virus protection - here's a screen-shot of the bad link, which was actually a picture result (attached below).

    All the best,
    Andrew.

I've had a little look into that, but am not sure how to enter "127.0.0.1 itwildcats.net" into the hosts file. I tried to open what I thought was the hosts file but it was a read only sample file on the hard drive instead.

Could you offer any further suggestions?

    All the best,
    Andrew.

On Windows XP go to C:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc\. Edit the file called 'hosts' (there's no file extension). The default hosts file shouldn't have any entries in it, just comments at the top. If you're having trouble with it being read-only you may need to have administrator privileges on your computer or perhaps change the permissions of the file. Hopefully that helps! :)
