OK all of you euro car owners. I'm trying to find out if the early Euro cars (paricularly the Italian ones) have a warranty card. I contacted Mike at Superformance (yes he is still there so far), and he tells me that the booklets were originally printed in different languages. The repros they sell are in English only. So... anyone have an Italian version? What does it look like? Blue cover? Need some help here. Thanks Pietro #01296
Say... 69-72 ish. I just wanted confirmation that they were printed in more than one language (depending on where they were sold) and what they looked like. Thanks for your help Pietro
No need for the picture. Does it look like the one from Superformance? http://www.superformance.co.uk/246/246acc.htm (at the bottom of the page) If all else fails I will buy this one. Thanks Pietro
i have the warranty book for 03688 , rhd drive gts. it is very similar to the superformance book, but not the exact same. i know this is a uk car, but the book is in english. i have to believe a foreign language (esp. italian) warranty book exists as well
i was outbid honestly, i haven't seen many non-english warranty books. they have to exist, don't they?
To be honest, I cannot see how a warranty of any kind was being offered in Italy at the time. It almost seems like they "had to" do this for US customers and for those outside of ITALY . Knowing how little recourse the Italian consumer has (still to this day) , it would not surprise me if in the early days you were on your own once you bought the car. I'll keep looking for the "Italian" version of the booklet. Cheers Pietro
