State inspection I can't argue with.

    Service/Oil change - dealer won't care.
It's only when it specifically comes to warranty work that it becomes a consideration.

If you plan to take it to the dealer for oil service they hook it to the computer at a Ferrari gets ECU data. They’ll see the ECU was tampered with. That’s the way my local dealer explained it to me.

Yes, this is what the service department sent me today. They are willing to work on it, they are just going to charge me for anything extra they are going to need to do because of the exhaust.

    • In addition, the client needs to be aware that in the future, it may be difficult to set parameters for state inspection.
    • FOA's assistance for parameter setting will be out of pocket.
    • FOA is also not responsible for any potential check engine lights due to after-market equipment.
    • Diagnostic Fee for aftermarket caused issues will be out of pocket.

I might very much regret this decision later, but I got the car with the novitec put back on, and it sounds amazing.

To be fair, I really have no clue what the stock exhaust sounds like on the f8, I am comparing it to the Roma I just came out of.

    I have...they sound awesome....like a 488 with exhaust. 488 exhaust is obviously simple to do compared to a F8.
There are slight harmonic differences with various exhaust's on this engine but the base tonality is there from 488-Pista-F8. I've heard catless straight through and 200 cell cats with valves. Either way the Ferrari sound is there.

Roma sounds really good stock...much better than a F8. Some how Ferrari fixed the sound on the Roma which came after the F8 as you know.
