Wartime Requisitions

I recently found this among some wartime letters between my great-uncle and his parents (my great-grandparents). He was, apparently, working in the "procurement division" at the time.

It was prefaced with a letter, which said

"enclosed are some pieces of choice correspondance which I want to keep. It is not wise that you show these around as I could get in some serious trouble."

I think 60 years later, it's okay to show this around. I think that Mrs. Eisenhowers underwear is no longer a sensitive matter of national security.
