Well, the CARFAX/title may be clear but he's obviously hit something, by the sound of the fresh paint, missing light and 'loose' inner fender!

I'd say "about right" based on the busted A/C, missing stereo and cost of new cats to smog it.....

That, and no service mentioned which probably means due for a major and whatever else has been deferred/ignored. The engine bay doesn't look too fresh.

I agree, the price feels OK to me assuming the engine and gearbox are sound.

"It runs and drives and is for sale in Sacramento California, but has a Nevada title."

Someone is going to get a surprise when they get hit with the back-taxes owed. You want a bill of sale from the current state in which the car is titled, and you want to see that your car has a current tag on it so that you aren't on the hook.

It varies from state to state, but in Alabama the new owner is liable for all unpaid taxes from the years when the car wasn't properly titled in the correct state.

I was in line at the Alabama DMV when the woman in front of me was hit with $3,000 in back taxes for an old out of state minivan. Not a pretty sight. She was clearly in no position to pay such a sum.

When I was shopping for my 348, I saw quite a few scammers who were getting by on temp tags (for 4 years in one case!) and dealer plates (or no plates at all)...and that's just a title-hassle and tax-hassle waiting to happen.

The turn lens that's missing sells for $900 on a 328, and you'll have to disassemble fresh paint to put the fender well back in........

This one seems to have many issues....

Like BigTex has said, its been in some type of crash, the front bonnet has come off and they couldnt put it on straight! Question is why? Cars not straight? or they werent good enough to put a bonnet on straight? please.... But if that is the case what else didnt they do right?

But like always, its hard for us to comment on a few pic's over the internet.
