washer fluid resevoir

Developed a leak coming out driver side at front of car. Bright blue liquid. My car is a 09 430. Is the resevoir on these models prone to leaking?

 

Does washer fluid dispense onto the windshield? Quick way to check if it's a detached or broken line vs the reservoir.
I personally haven't heard of this as a normal problem on the 360/430. Older models tend to fail at the seal between the pump and the reservoir, and the California had issues with res cracking.

 

My 360 leaks on the passenger side. I have not dealt with it yet.

 

Any chance the front bumper has recently been removed/refitted? Snagging/puncturing the washer feed hoses to the headlamps during figment is a known issue - if the leak is at the front....

 

I've owned since October 2015. I haven't removed front bumper. Driven the car about 1k miles. The leak just showed .

 

How difficult is this to access and fix?

 

need to remove front bumper to service the washer container and pump within.

 

If ur w bottle is shot I hav a spare up for grabs.
