When: Sunday, July 31 7pm Where: My House 2308 Harrisburg Ln Plano, TX 75025 Why: Ferrari is out of the running and I have a lot of beer to drown our misery in. Oh yeah, and a 100" screen. The development, Cambridge Place at Russel Creek, may not show up on some mapping software. Its on the NW corner of Hedgecoxe and Custer. Traveling East on Hedgecoxe, make a left on Custer (North), and make the first immediate left onto Harrisburg Ln. House is a few blocks up on the left. Corner lot, caddy corner to the park. We'll be casual about the food arrangements and order pizza in. You are welcome to use the grill is this is too primitive for your tastes. The bar is pretty well stocked most of the time so come thirsty. Please RSVP so I can get a head count.
Too close to not be there! I'll drive the Maserati and try to persuade Rodney to bake us some of his "Classic Chocolate Chip Cookies"! Pizza sounds good, too.
I'll try to make it. (my first F1 race to watch) Please forgive the newbie.....he'll be asking a lot of questions. If he gets annoying, just tell him to shut up.
I'll try to be there, but I'll be late. I have a soccer game at 6:00 that will last a little more than an hour. Add drive time to that and it may be 8:00 before I get there.
Usually not a problem. We socialize a little before we start the race. Plus there is 1/2 hour of pre race show.
I'll probably make it and bring along my friend Steve. Neither of us drink so no need to include us in the beer forecast. Any specifics on where the Ferrari's should park?
Hey, is it alright if I bring a friend with me? He works with me at Park Place, and is a big F1 fan. Unfortunately, he hasn't met anyone in the area who is into F1 racing. If its alright, I'll call him and let him know. Thanks.
Everyone can just park on the street. I live on a corner and across from a park, so lots of room for everyone. I've had Superbowl Parties the last two years, averaging about 50-60 people and about 30 Porsches, Ferrari's, BMWs, etc and never had any problems. Yes, bring friends if you've got them. Looks like we could have up to 20 people, time to get more ice .....
Munchies and non-alcoholic beverages are things you can never have too much of. Same for wine. DO NOT BRING BEER, we've got plenty!
