i have an iphone. i never use earbuds but i want to watch movies on a plane. best and cheapest wireless earbuds? tia
If you have wired earphones, here is your cheapest option Apple Lightning to 3.5 mm Headphone Jack Adapter https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LXJFMGF/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_NG8BG8ZVJV8ZK2S1WKB8
Though not cheap, and not ear buds, I recently bought a set of these: Bose SoundLink Wireless Around-Ear Headphones II Black 741158-0010 - Best Buy Used them on my iphone & Ipad when flying long haul recently and can highly recommend them. Battery life is enormous, noise cancelling works great. I don't like ear buds because after several hours they really start hurting my ears. Not because of the volume but because of the way they sit in my ears. I've tried several brands and always the same issue. Consider that you'll be at the airport for at least 2 hours doing nothing, then flying, the fetching your bags...you'll probably be looking at 6 hours minimum wear time. Oh and i find ear buds to not do any real noise cancelling. I'm sure you can get bluetooth noise cancelling headphones for ~$100 as well.
I never got used to any sort of earbuds. Hurt my ears after 20 mns or so so i had to buy actual headphones for when i travel or workout. I bought some for $45 at walmart and am super happy with them. Sound is good and i dont hear the plane noises even when i dont have the volume all the way up on my Samsung. I never tried more expensive headphones bc im a cheap bastard for that kind of stuff and am happy enough with the $45 ones i picked. The best thing for me though is that my ears dont hurt anymore after 20mns as they did when i shoved earbuds in.
I also used these a few times when i forgot mines and borrowed my kid's. Even cheaper! Image Unavailable, Please Login
There are less expensive options, but none that sound better (says the guy that has, over the last several months, tried literally every in ear out there) or have a 2 year warrantee https://www.bestbuy.com/site/jabra-elite-active-75t-true-wireless-noise-cancelling-in-ear-headphones-titanium-black/6395674.p?skuId=6395674&ref=212&loc=1&extStoreId=1776&ref=212&loc=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiAjJOQBhCkARIsAEKMtO2O_3VDIyuV-9upIL8cErWLA29O8rqy2GXnyTiiIFGCKwH3tPs6iYYaAlU9EALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds I'm now well into year 2 with mine A review on same: https://www.tomsguide.com/reviews/jabra-elite-active-75t-wireless-earbuds
Are you flying commercially or private? A larger number of aircraft now a days have outlets or USB ports for personal electronic device charging. Odds are in favor you'll have an outlet at your seat.
Ah, ok. Gotcha. A fully charged iphone12 can make a 2 hr movie. I've seen my son watch movies on his iphone for the duration of flights we have flown.
Should easily do it. I use my Samsung S10 at the gym for a good 2h between treadmill and sauna and the battery goes down about 30% only.
