Hi, can anybody let me know about an under-sink water filtration system; any issues with them? Any recommended brands, things to know for the install, etc? Can it be a DYI project (no reason it shouldn't be, maybe other than drilling through granite countertops?).

    Thanks!

We have Spark-L-Pure whole house & and under sink units & couldn't be happier.

Works great & the sink unit is the same one they use on Food TV's Iron Chef shows :)

Ok, thanks I will look into it.

Are there any other recommendations? What things do you compare these things against? PPM filtered? Output per minute? etc.?

    Thx,

This is what I use for under the sink:

    www.espring.com

It has a UV light to zap the microbes as well as a great filtering system. Highly recommended.
