    I just saw in our local paper a short article about a company that operates out of Maunalua Bay (Hawaii Kai) that provides water adventure activities. They are getting ready to sell rides with a water powered, strap-on jet pack.The water is provided by a power unit that trails behind, connected to the jet pack by a 30 foot hose.

    The article says that first time riders will be limited to heights of 5 or 6 feet and will only have control over their direction. The provided helmet will have communication with company staff that are controlling the equipment. The cost will be $199. The article states that the setup costs a little under $100K.

    Sounds interesting and fun....;>)

    Yes. Jetlev is mentioned in the article. I do hope that they can keep it safe for people with no experience.
