I have an Aquamist system installed on my 2007 Porsche Turbo by BBI Autosport.

If you have a car that runs a lot better on race gas, then the methanol injection kit is really worth it.

I found that - with the ECU tuned like it was - my Turbo was getting about 30-40 bhp out of high octane race fuel over pump gas. Also, I would experience some knocking with pump gas as well. So I spent a lot of money on drums of SCERA and VP race gas. This got really old fast.

Now that I have the Aquamist system, it is like I am running race gas all of the time and it lasts about 3 tanks on a 2 gallon mixture. BBI retrofitted the window washer fluid reservoir for the methanol and it works like a charm.

I also own a 2004 360 Modena - bone stock. I do not get the same type of performance gains in that car with racing fuels as I do with the twin turbo Porsche.

I am very happy with the Aquamist system in my 997TT.

I run one on my single turbo RX-7 and on my blown Viper and they work as advertised.
No real need for it in a N/A car.

Overkill unless your running forced induction or racing in extreme temperature where the motor would really be at risk.

If you are racing I would still reccomend running at 95 octane or higher, just to help eliminate possible misfire/knock.
