Can someone point me to the recent thread that showed where the needle should sit on the water temp guage.

Mine sits steady at 190f on the move then creeps up a little when stationary....is this ok?

Both fans are working, however, i'm sure the right hand fan doesn't spin as fast as the left hand..

    Is this normal?

On a cool day and you are just cruising on the highway, it is ok if you temp gauge is about 175. When you stop and sit in traffic in any weather, it should creep up to 190 and a hair higher then the fans come on. That is OK.

    Actually it's not Mitch.

The engine needs to run consistently over 176°f for the ecu to get out of secondary fuel enrichment. At least that's how it is for a 348. If you are running too cool the ecu will keep dumping in extra fuel. It's my opinion that is why the cats fail so soon, and one of the contributors why the headers melt on the 355.
