    guys, when driving in the city my water temp can reach up to 100 degrees. Is it ok ?

    Mine has NEVER overheated, driving very slow in a long parade is just not a problem in the Cali even in a 95 degree day.

    What an incredibly (and unconscionably) rude reply! Some people might legitimately not know how this stuff works, and it is not peculiar to Ferraris btw.

    The electric fans in front of the rad are set to come on when the water temp starts to get "high". I don't know what the sensor is set to on the Cali but typically its about 220F (105C). Yes that is higher than the boiling point of water but for two things:
    1) you shouldn't have pure water in there and
    2) its a pressurized system (which is why it is VERY DANGEROUS to open it up while it is hot - flash boil!)
    both of which will substantially raise the boiling point (note that the water temp gauge is "red lined" at 250F (121C)).

    If you park the car and let it idle to let the water temp rise, you should hear the fans turn on at around 220F. The temp will continue to rise for a bit - probably top out around 225F and then (eventually) drop below (maybe) 215F, at which point the fans should shut off. If you are driving at any speed there is typically enough air flow that the fans wont even kick on, even in fairly hot summer weather. If you are stuck in traffic you can expect that the fans will cycle on and off and that the temp is "well above" the 212F max that you might expect, i.e. the temp will drift up and down between about 215F and 225F as the fans cycle.

    Note that the Cali is not anything special in this respect - a LOT of cars do exactly the same thing. I have driven the Cali in a lot of different conditions and have never had a worryingly high temp yet. 100C: no big deal.

    Many thanks mate !. I can hear the fans turning on, i was just a bit worried since the temp. almost reached 90-100C. It's my first supercar, so i want to take good care of my baby :).

    I had a radiator weld leak which caused over heating. But, otherwise the Cali is very reliable in a wide range of ambient temperatures and driving conditions.

    Since the 360 era, overheating problems with Ferrari's have been addressed.
