Whos heading to Corning NY/ Watkins Glen for FCA event this week?
Its sad but i'm used to seeing it. He's a family friend and i've seen it/been in it a bunch of times. He drove it to my house once when his family came to dinner! It was amazing Now his 288GTO......its hard for me not to drool on that...
Its probably the only GTB/C that has had 3 people in it. The owner, me and my friend. It was very cramped but very fun. We drove it about a mile on the roads from a show to his trailer. So much fun. He drives it around here every now and then. He gave a ride to a neighbour for about half an hour when it was her birthday

I was up there last week, and it was a great gathering. I have some pics that I took as well, and will post them when I get a chance to go through them. Some absolutely wonderful cars, and the weather for the track days could not have been better. Steve
Thanks to all of you from this region. We drove up from Charlotte, NC and enjoyed 5 days of perfect weather, great hospitality, and three terrific days at the Glen. Wow, what a track. more pics when I get some sleep. Image Unavailable, Please Login

Hey, any of you run with the young lady with the yellow 355 Challenge? I met her at the Trackmasters event the other day - we were bleeding our brakes together (don't tell my wife). She told me she had instructed at the FCA event and I have to say she was not very complimentary!
There were several women instructors at the event, a couple of them being very attractive, and great drivers. The problem with the event was that it was just too crowded. They ended up combining the blue and red groups (the two fastest groups), putting over 60 cars on the track at the same time. I usually run in the blue group there in my Corvette with FCA, but since I was driving my 308, I moved myself down to the white group, which turned out to be the right move, as there were less than 30 cars in that group. They usually run green (novice) and white together, blue and red separately, but changed for this event, and ran a separate session for instructors since they had so many of them there for this event. I have attended a lot of FCA track events, and they are always well run. Because this was in conjunction with the National Meet, there were a lot more cars and drivers than usual, so things got a little uncoordinated, and some folks were not very happy. I had no problems and had an absolutely great time on the track with the 308 (which was never intended to be a track car for me, but since this was a Ferrari-only event....).
I finally got all of my pictures up! So, for those of you asking...here's something to look at! There are many pics of F-chat member cars who were there. If you are looking for a car you don't see, drop me a line I met her after she had been in an OTE (off track excursion) with someone in a 360. She was a little shaken up. a little photo preview...
