Watkins Glen Sept Extravaganza

There are two events at The Glen in early September running back to back, The Empire State Region of FCA is hosting a three day track event September 02, 03 and 04. Then, on the heels of that is the Chin Racing track event 05 and 06.

I attended the May event (4 days total) and enjoyed tons of spectacular track time on one of the world’s best venues. It is a memory I shall never forget. Both FCA and Chin are top notch.

These organized events have three run groups with all levels of driver skill - beginner through advanced. Beginners and novices are provided instructors, which IMO are some of the best teachers out there. Lots of track time is virtually guaranteed, and you’ll rarely get this opportunity to drive this unbelievable track.

You don’t need a Ferrari or even need to be an FCA member.

Watkins Glen is in the glorious Finger Lakes region, hopefully my girl will tag along and she can explore the countryside and visit the some of the numerous wineries.
