    A 1970s F-1 car would be doing about 180MPH at the end of the straightaway... looks you were almost there. through the Esses - they would be about 130MPH... pretty close to the last f-1 cars that ran there.

    That's flyin', good job! As data points for comparison, my last time at WGI was in July 2012, in my ~$50k car with top speed of maybe 145mph (I don't remember and data is lost), and best lap of 1:52.4. It's the old adage of "How fast do you want to go? How much do you want to spend", but driver is still key. Best wishes and stay safe as you drop those 2 seconds next time.
