my boss Mr. Hora!!!! LOL Why not say that I was hired by all you studs to wash the damn cars at minimum wage
We have this too! How did Emil know about this wax-on/wax-off event back then? Do you suppose he's Clairvoyant? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Note Lupe's house was never specified Jon... Fooled ya! Given the number of Jersey runs we've been having lately, we thought it would only be fair to go East this time around. John Li has graciously donated his house. He's getting the pool cleaned, out. And yes, he does have a BIG driveway. Hope that's ok with everybody. Lupe, better bring Mugsly...in your car, that is.
Excellent! Westbury is a great location. Bradley can you come? Mr. Li, can I drop some supplies off at your place on Thursday?
so what time are we caravaning over to pchop's crib? jersey people want to meet in NYC or u guys going it alone?
If you guys want, the next time you wanna do this, we do it at my house...once its finished there should be enough room for several cars, and I have all the top notch detailing items you would ever need, as I own a mobil detailing service and used to detail ferraris, bmws and several exotic used cars at wide world of cars. If you guys want to do another one of these "detail" days im up for it....let me know...i live in new city ny btw..just north of bergen county nj and just west of westchester county ny
May I come if it's in Old Westbury? That's not far from where I live. I can offer my SMG M3 for your test/abuse/compare
Mr. Black355, First that's Old Westbury for ya...and yes, you may drop off some supplies on Thursday. I should be around after 6 p.m. Call me before you come.
Let's all go together. It should be fun! Depending on the size of the crew, we can meet at my place. If it becomes big (which it seems like it might), we can consider The Cloisters as an alternative starting point (of course, then we'll have a mini NYC caravan to The Cloisters )
my block can probably accomodate at least 6 f cars comfortably. no need to go all the way to The Cloisters.
the cul-de-sac where noah lives is also a great meeting spot. right by the hudson, no cars, very wide street... i was at hotel gansevoort last night, and was thinking that that avenue, 9th avenue/14th street, is great for a sunday meet/brunch... etc... i
Or we can just line up down 9th avenue, like the last time around... Gotta admit though, bro, 9th Avenue gets pretty bad around there.
11th avenue in front of jacob javitis convention center is is a great spot too. no traffic at 10am on sunday. plus there are empty outdoor lots that are not used when conventions are not going on...
As the new weather guy in the group I feel it is my "duty" to check on the weather for these tri-state events even if I can not attend. For what we call medium range forecasting (3-7 days) the European weather model run at the European Center for Medium Range Weather Forecasting in Reading England rules and I just got a look at the new run out to 7 days. The forecast pattern over the tri-state for this Sunday is the bone dry with a high pressure ridge right over the east coast, so sunny as well....and not particularly warm..so a great day to detail. This forecast of course could change but it looks pretty solid now. Have a great time guys.
Central Nj detailer over here. Whoever doesn't want to do their car on sunday or doesn't have the stuff, pm me and make an appt. w/ me and i'll detail it for ya. My summer is boring so far, and i need more customers.
I am not going to have the Viper as it needs new brakes so can I ride with anyone? Should I drive to the city and leave the car in the garage at your building vik? What is parking there anyway? $40.00? Talk to you all soon
