I have been using Mothers California Gold Pure Carnauba the past eighteen months, twice a year wash and detail, apply two coats by hand. I have great depth, no embedded soil and a good shine. How can I get a "wet" look.

make sure your surface is clear of debris: (wash, and clay the car)
    A smooth surface after (polish)
and a better wax - P21s is a great wax (use the Pre-wax as well)

A severely underrated, easy as pie to use line called Duragloss should be available locally.

Ultimately the final look of the vehicle will come from any corrective work or polishing but you can kinda-sorta tweak the look by polishing by hand(cleaning the paint only really) and making sure protection is topped up.

DG105 and DG111 are amazing sealants
Their detail spray is top notch and the paint cleaners are very effective.

I don't think I have ever heard of anyone having trouble with them either.
