ItalianCarFest is within one state of achieving our goal of having entries from 15 states. Entries from Arizona, Illinois, Colorado and Tennessee have arrived in the past month. What this tells us is we are quickly building an enthusiast weekend into something that has a wide geographic appeal. But we have yet to register a car from Louisiana this year.

As more cars from more locales are on the manicured lawn of Cross Timbers Winery near Dallas, the greater the variety of wonderful examples of Italian machinery that will be present to admire.

Another interesting development is the ready acceptance of the Reserved Weekend Package. This option, priced at $350, has been selected by 12 participants to date. Included in the package, beside access to the ICF Sat. Evening at Gaylord and the Scenic Drive/Speedway Brunch, is space for the participant's car under a canopy during Saturday's show at Cross Timbers Winery. What the runaway success of this package tells us is entrants want to make this into a weekend celebration of Italian cars (and that given the chance they'll take the shade!).

And the interest in the Boardwalk Track Day at Texas Motor Speedway, Sunday Sept. 10 has been great.

If you have not considered coming out to ItalianCarFest as an entry or a visitor, please do. With 5 weeks remaining we expect to meet our 15 state goal with 135 entrants bringing outstanding cars plus another 20-30 bringing cycles and scooters. We expect 12,000+ visitors to attend. We have more space than last year, more activities and we want you to be part of it.
