The latest Patriots have a good ABM capability. Just about any air-launched ballistic missile goes hypersonic. No big deal when you are above the atmosphere. Those intermediate range versions with optional nuke capability were illegal for quite a while, but we both quit the INF treaty, since the Russians were cheating anyway.

I guess it is also good to go for RUS piloted MiG's to be forward deployed to Vz, Nicaragua, and Cuba. NATO pilots (Weapons School Grads (U.S. Aggressor pilots) will fill a lot of the cockpits.
Ukrainians (Ruthenians) have been fighting wars for centuries. There has hardly been a generation in the last ~400 years without military experience. Most Soviet equipment was made and designed in Ukraine. (Yuzmash - Rockets/missiles, KMBD -Tanks, Antonov - Planes, Mykolaiv Shipyard- Aircraft Carriers, Motor Sich - Helicopters and aerospace engines) I would not belittle their capacity to learn and utilize equipment. Happy to see Ivan attritted. Just keep in mind the majority of fielded conventional equipment (tactical) will almost all be obsolete in ten to fifteen years. Brilliant inexpensive dormant drones will soon be procured and render most of this crap obsolete. This is a euro war and the W euros are happy to sit on their hands and let Uncle Sam pull the cart. It does look like we have an ace, just not on the side we hoped for. Now, if this is anymore real than the Ghost of Kyiv, who knows. I didn't think Ukraine was sending up all that many aircraft that one person could achieve ace status, but the list of aircraft destroyed in the air makes it at least theoretically possible.
