    When it can be proved that self-driving cars can greatly reduce accidents, that's it. They will be mandated by increasingly left-wing governments. People who wish to drive themselves will be considered Neanderthals who will eventually go extinct.

    You see a lot of the younger generation now, who are happy to just have a smart phone and ride the bus.

    The "Golden Age" was the '50s. drive ins, motor ins, the Interstate Highway System. Now you've got Pols sitting in their offices figuring out ways to "get people out of their cars".
