    FCA and FDC sponsored AutoGallery's Vegas run. It's being filmed for a possible Spike TV show and some clips for Entourage. After some "spirited" driving on the open road we came upon a few friendly CHP officers who chose to unofficially "escort" us once they happened upon us. I suspect some other friendly motorists called the CHP and suggested this unofficial escort. Although there were a few instances where the CHP requested a driver to pull over to the side of the road it was just for a friendly discussion about safe driving habits. No blood.

    Then we got to the NV state line and the real fun happened. We had an "official" escort withe Nevada's best highway patrol officers to Las Vegas Speedway. They cleared the way through traffic and accidentally hit some higher speeds from time to time. Of course we were obligated to keep up with them.......for everyone's safety. Once at the track we witnessed an F1 car running laps showcasing the new F1 drivers school.

    Tomorrow we're off for more fun.

    I don't know how we're going to get home through that road construction in Devore on Sunday. Anyone want to volunteer to drive my car home and pick us up in a private plane?

    The F1 driver's school is an opportunity to drive an f1 car for about $3k. You warm up in a champ car in the a.m. and get 4 laps in the f1 car in the p.m. Hefty price per lap but well worth it IMO.

    Great w/e. Lot's of fun at Tryst Saturday night. And all the hubbub about construction was bad info. No construction yesterday. Left the Wynn at noon and arrived in Newport by 4. No traffic and not a single CHP sighting on the way home.
