curious people's opinion on this... about wearing your Ferrari articles of clothing while driving your "Ferrari". I watch lots of car vlog content and recently, not once but twice by two different vloggers one Canadian and one from UK, both commented that its an unspoken " no no" rule to wear your Ferrari gear while driving a Ferrari..? as if to hint that its douchy or whatever..? the fact that it was 2 different vloggers from two different parts of the world.. has now made me wonder about this supposed rule..? unless im taking the car to a more formal event, I am at minimum wearing my Ferrari cap 99% of the time when I drive my car. and if we go on a club cruise, I could easily be wearing my puma shoes, a Ferrari shirt, my cap and even Ferrari driving cloves etc.. and many of the members head to toe in their Ferrari gear too.. so until a heard the comments above, it never dawned on me any issue or rule about this..? not that ive changed my perspective, im more the happy/proud to wear my gear while driving.. just curious what the opinion is here.. or maybe in the end I and the club here are just a bunch of douchy owners lol..
Tony, life's too short to live by any "rules" Wear whatever you want, whenever you want. If you feel uncomfortable wearing something with an F Car logo, whilst driving your F Car, then don't. I loved getting out of my Ferrari in paint stained cut off khaki shorts and a tank top, intriguing looks by some? Sure, but too bad for them I don't give AF
I never bought official Ferrari gear, mostly because I don't like how it looks. I do have a couple of tees that have a Ferrari on it, but I don't sync wearing them with the day I drive the car.
I think this is a good topic. I say do what you want. I posted a video on Ferrari Chat recently about how I finally bought a Ferrari and I’m wearing my Ferrari shirt and cap - proudly. If we bought our Ferrari’s for the sole purpose of impressing others than do what others are doing and conforming to their opinions. Are you out to please them or you? My position is Resist the urge to conform to others opinions and do what makes you happy. Image Unavailable, Please Login Vince FerrariChat.com mobile app
indeed I have no issue wearing my Ferrari clothing while driving the car.. im happy/proud/passionate to be an owner.. by wearing a couple pieces of clothing while driving im not looking for extra attention, given as per the vloggers their reasoning seems youre already driving the car no need to step out wearing your cap, shirt, shoes etc.. im just glad to be part of the Ferrari culture and wearing my gear/clothing is just an extension of that.. but after hearing these comments just made me wonder if this was an actual rule..

Bought my first hat last week and wore it yesterday while driving with top off. I was going to fast for anyone to notice what my hat said [emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I only own a couple of Ferrari shirts and only wear them if going to a car event. I never bother just driving around.
I don't own any and I don't think I'd ever wear it if I did cos I just don't understand it. I personally agree with the vloggers since it's really not my cup of tea. It just looks weird I find. Do lambo owners also have lambo gear too? But for real who cares. YOLO!
I was at a recent car show and a guy showed up in a nice looking Mondial. He got out and was wearing a Ferrari cap, Ferrari shirt, Ferrari socks and the Puma Ferrari driving shoes. I just smiled and thanked the lord that no one has bought me a stitch of Ferrari clothes.
Probably my cousin. Lol [emoji23] I thought about the question a little more from the OP. For me at least if I’m just going out for a ride then maybe maybe not, depends on what I want to wear at the time I guess. It’s whatever the person likes. Vince FerrariChat.com mobile app
If one is literally dressed from head to toe in Ferrari insignia then maybe, just maybe, one would look a bit too fanatical. For example, a hat, a jacket, a tee-shirt, pants, and shoes at the same time, whoa! But if one is sporting a hat & shoes or a tee-shirt & shoes, I wouldn't lift a brow. Passion is passion. Fly your colors. If one is worried about what other people think then one shouldn't even be driving a vehicle such as a Ferrari because one is already drawing attention by doing so. I guarantee half the attention being grabbed are admirers but the other half are detractors. We can't appease everyone. Silly haters are going to hate so what really matters is how comfortable you feel in your own skin & garb.
This is the most that I will wear. I try to be a good Ferrari ambassador and not flaunt it. My 360 Spider attracts enough attention as it is. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I have nothing "ferrari" other than the car. What would be the point, 'look at me everybody'? My identity lies outside of what I own
I just have the hat. Only the hat and nothing but the hat. I felt weird driving my Ferrari with my Porsche hat on [emoji16] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I've been a Scuderia Ferrari F1 Tifosi since I was a teen so I've purchased apparel over the years to represent my allegiance to my F1 team; wayyy before I was able to afford a Ferrari. This is akin to folks wearing their favorite Football, Baseball, Basketball, Soccer, etc,. team's apparel. I've never overdone it, though.
Some wear Ferrari stuff because of their love for F1, with nothing to do with owning or driving. I was at an equestrian facility one time and a barn laborer had a dirty, worn, Ferrari hat on. I happened to have mine on also, even though I had driven there in a pickup. He looked at me and said, "I love F1 too! I always want Ferrari to win."
