This group is very straight forward. Toolbars are friendly 'spyware' in a way. You visit a site, it sees the traffic and the more people that visit the site, the more importance the toolbars see that site as. If one person visits a site Alexa could care less, but get a group of 100's or 1000's of people come by, and it pays more attention to it. The more traffic it sees, the more frequently it is indexed/searched by the search engines and bots and the higher your rank goes.

A sitemap is the BEST thing to send a link to, so that way spiders can saturate your site quickly.
