Does anyone have a recommendation on a company here in the USA that specializes in rebuilding - to a very highest standard - 3500GT Weber 42 DCOE 6 carburetors?
I would be interested in knowing of your experience.
    Ciao,

    Frank,

I use Gary Martin. He has 30 year experience with Webers. Here are some shots of my DCOE he restored on my 3500 GT/T. He is very detailed and professional. I believe my costs were about $220 per carb. His speciality is Weber, ALFA etc. He loves his job and is very proud of his work.

Let me know if you want more details.

    Ciao and best!

We rebuild Weber carburetors to high standards and can manufacture any NLS parts. We can also prep them to run on modern (alcohol laden) fuel.

    Hi Trev,

Do you happen to have Gary Martins number on hand? I have used Pierce Manifold in Gilroy CA in the past, they do a great job rebuilding Webers but expensive. Around $900 for the full works with new shafts, bushings etc. i getting ready to rebuild a set of DCOE 40's and yours look great.

    Thanks,
    Chris

Note to all: Gary is good, and very fair.

I had mine done in 2007, bead blasted, all fasteners/screws/linkage/fuel lines plated, new starter jets, new kits, new throttle shafts and misc other. All for about $825. Albiet that was in 2007. Gary even sent me tuning instructions and a flow meter. Although I can't comment on how they function as they are off the car.

Price wasn't a decision when I used Gary. I saw his ad in Hemmings Motor News, called him and sent the carbs to him. I'm happy!

    Ciao and best!

Does he put anything on the cast parts to protect the finish?

They look like raw bead blasted???

The good news is they were not sandblasted, then they would really be raw!!! :D
