Has anyone ever checked out www.liveATC.net ? I think it's pretty cool to listen to live air traffic control audio streams. Since I'm from NY I like to listen to JFK tower, approach and departure. Listening to professional pilots communicate is definately helping me, and from what i'm told the better you sound on the radio the better treatment you get from controllers.

That's a neat site. There were a few sites like that in the past but they've all stopped working.... That one seems to be supported by lots of different enthusiasts and so I hope it lasts longer than some have.

The forum on that site has some "highlights" saved and posted that are pretty interesting, such as the Air Force One radio transmissions.

The one thing i dont like is how they combine a bunch of frequencies in one feed, so it seems like everyones stepping on everyone else, so its sometimes hard to follow ATC conversations. Still, it can be educational. gotta get to bed- flying tomorrow AM.
