woke up here in TX and first went to the FIAWEC site with live timing, and it had the order all messed up. Great to then come here to see #51 still out front!! Come on guys bring it HOME!!!!
In the interview 18 hours ago, he seemed untroubled in knowing they might finish 11th & 12th. Massive performance gap he stated.
It actually does warp time, the last hour at 24H COTA seemed to be about three hours long!!!!!! Well done to all. I never found live streaming in Texas but on board the Ferrari for about seven hours thru the night will have to do!!! A friend last year had it on but he was not around this year to watch....
sorry, can someone explain this to me in one minute? how and why did NASCAR get this car in? Class is called CDNT, but they are the only entrant. Their lap times faster than GTE, placing compared to GTE would put them in top 10. I've seen a ton of meme's on internet about how large the car was.
America's Home Team, IMO Spirit of Briggs Cunningham I'm glad Cadillac threw a car together, but it's not quite the same thing.......
the ACO allows a car every year outside the typical competition rules. The Nissan not-deltawing was one...there have been alternative fuel cars. Maybe Hydrogen toyota next year.... "garage 56" it's got a pretty good history. sjd
exhibition entry, basically Jim France (NASCAR family) is a huge endurance guy. he made this happen. NASCAR owns IMSA. since the new Cup car is a Dallara design and has a lot of GT3 influence it kinda made sense. great publicity stunt too
no P2 for WEC but there will be 15 P2 entries for LeMans next year my guess is all the Ams will get forced out of GT3 due to two car per manufacturer rule, so they’ll end up in P2
"Garage 56" is for special entries in LeMans that don't fit any other class. It's for experimental race cars. This year it's a highly modified "Camaro" based on a NASCAR chassis.
