Tell me about it !! I had a business in France years ago; I lost the fight against their bureaucracy. I sold it and moved to Belgium.
Nice film on the Ferrari site. What a piece of kit that car is. Far more beguiling than the modern F1 car. Forza ! https://www.ferrari.com/en-EN/hypercar/articles/24h-le-mans-2023-hypercar-race?_its=JTdCJTIydmlkJTIyJTNBJTIyNWNiNjBjYmQtNzAyNy00MDMzLTgyMzgtM2Y4NmU1YTI0YjIzJTIyJTJDJTIyc3RhdGUlMjIlM0ElMjJybHR%2BMTY4Njg1ODUxN35sYW5kfjJfNjgwNjNfZGlyZWN0XzJlMzY4YzY4YTFlZDljYTlhMGI2NDRhMzA3ZjA2NTIwJTIyJTJDJTIyc2l0ZUlkJTIyJTNBNzY2NyU3RA%3D%3D
Unless All cars were given the same check after the race they will have a hell of a time in court. Its like weighting the winning soccer team after the match and saying 2 players are just over the weight limit. Then giving the win to the losing team without weighing them. Discrimination, match fitting the list goes on... The cars were checked before the start of the race case closed. I do wonder if its to look at what the Winners have done to there cars to have an edge over the other. to ban or change rules to close up the grid more. either way unacceptable
My tradition in recent years has been to watch the entire 24 hrs (at least for good years, not so much when Toyota is unopposed) piece by piece. Sometimes after work for a few hours, sometimes big chunks on weekends, sometimes in the background whilst I do other things. My better half LOVES the noise!! But at least I don't watch bat and ball sports, which bore me to death (and her). Just classic and current F1, WEC, IMSA, Moto GP, and unlimited hydroplanes. I really wish the mega coverage of today was available for classic 70s and 80s LeMans. Other than excessive safety car times early on, it was a great race, and there were some new "Blue Danube" car Ballerina moments in the rain. And who better to win the 100th Le Mans in such impressive fashion than Ferrari? Hope they will have more overalls + GT wins, keep the fire going! An overall + GT lockout is the dream... .
Glad I'm not the only hydro fan on here! I was in Guntersville last week and watched Madison (at least part of it) today on YouTube. Two weeks in a row the final had been cancelled by weather. Hope they have better luck in Washington state.
I think the ACO should have a favorable BOP for aspirated engines and good sounding cars!!! This is how a good racing car should sound to me... watch the video after the first minute... Ferrari won Le Mans this year but for me the 333SP is much more iconic than the 499P
It has !! The Vanwall has a Gibson V8 atmo engine and is "BoPed" to compete against turbo and hybric cars.
