Marks a rather sad anniversary of sorts....18 years to the day that the "Old Man" passed away and every year for me its perhaps a day to reflect, just spending maybe 5 min or so thinking about what would have happened if Enzo Ferrari had sat on that park bench, snow falling around him and decided to just give up on life....

For those of you with F car, look at them, drive them......best way to honour the "Old Man"

    A very interesting concept indeed.

When I watched the Enzo movie I was thinking the same in that he was not the favored son and fought considerable obstacles to success but apparently not with women!

So many times in life success is just a breath away. It can come by luck, timing, chance, or all of these.

After I bought my Dino in Italy in 1974, I thought often of the mind that created that exceptional car. It was just an incredible vehicle, and it turned many heads as my 360 does today.

I wondered often why others could not create a car that could excite a passion, and I have had many of the best cars available that should have done the same.

Here's to Enzo and all of us who celebrate this joy daily.

    The reminder is greatly apprecaited.

I posted this once before but it's a good time now as well: http://www.speedace.info/ferrari.htm
