100% I don't know the crash rating Toyota Prado's have, but that car held up well. I will check them out now out of curiosity.
5 star ANCAP rating for the 2013-2022 models. Nicole's was an October 2014 Prado Kakadu. This car is "as safe as houses" Toyota Prado | Safety Rating & Report | ANCAP
Talk to Moretti. He knows lots of Queensland coppers. He's had lots of dealings with them over the years.
Re-reading it again as I speed read it yesterday.. what a mess. Thanks goodness all is ok.. Have to say, while i dislike big 4x4, they are well worth having in highway driving...or where big truck frequents.. On the bright side, let's have a celebration of good overcome in the spa....any excuse right!!
We're on first name basic, I called them "mother" and they call me "dick" Apparently you can call them "names" and tell them to GFd, my solicitor told me times have changed
To highjack this serious thread, because this is OZ FChat and that's how we roll, what's happening with your court case? You sueing those coppers.
I won the case and the judge gave a verdict where she said everything the cops did after they accosted me was ILLEGAL So I go to lawyers and they say the most I can get for a win in civil court is $15K as dictated by government but it will cost me $60k to contest it Why do I think ACABs ???!!!
Pity you are not filthy rich like Greg. Then you could sue them just for the entertainment, and fork the expense.
Here's why you need to be with your kids Image Unavailable, Please Login Aged 2 Image Unavailable, Please Login Aged 45 They grow up so quick it's all over in a flash
You are so right JM. Pap, your girls are at an age where it is still cool to have dad around but it won't be too much longer till it isn't or they have moved out and got their own life. Mate, you have to be there for these times. This is when you build that father daughter relationship that carries through the rest of your life. I Don't see enough of our kids due to distance these days but, the daughter (37) is here at the farm for a few days so life is good!
100% I'm happy to buy the exact same car again as I don't really want to fork out another $55K on top to purchase a new one. I don't want to pay that extra $12K I am looking at now to purchase the exact same car/kms etc but I will end up doing that I reckon.
Cheers mate, definitely worth having a car like this when travelling on the highways. Looking forward to a spa night with you men one day.
Too cute JM! They definitely grow up way too fast! She is a beautiful woman now, she looking for a nice Greek boy to marry?
Bad news JM. Not sure if I mentioned it or not, it's been a hectic week at work and now in Mackay. But here goes...... Monday morning, the day after the accident, Nicole's sister wakes up and can't move/lift her right arm. Her Mother drives her to the hospital and they do an ultrasound and found she has torn her rotator cuff. Shoulder/arm was fine after the accident and all that day, had an average sleep tossing and turning with sore ribs, wakes up and can't lift her right arm. Crazy! So she's off work now and in pain till they fix it up. She also ended up with some minor bruising on her right side rib cab. Caprice, sitting back left still has a sore back but she's sleeping better, but she's been told to stay off her scooter till her cracked vertebrae heals. Her back is still sore when she stands for too long and when she sits for too long she said. The twins were supposed to start the new basketball season Wednesday just gone but that's been put on hold for now until her back heals. Aria whom got knocked out still has a black eye, but it's healing well although she said she's had headaches all week. First I heard of that was yesterday, so we will see how that goes with her. They stayed at home this week and went to school Thursday and Friday. The little one is ok, her lip was swollen where she bit into it, but she's ok and went back to school Tuesday so she could tell all her mates. Kids heal very quickly which is good. Nicole unfortunately HAS cracked ribs, one broken rib which has punctured her lung and fluid in the lung also. She thought they were cracked or broken as she's broken her other side ribs falling off a horse when she was 17, so she remembered the pain straight away and thought her left side were cracked or broken straight away after the accident. They did x-rays in Proserpine on everyone and everyone was ok apparently except for Caprice with her cracked lower vertebrae. She hasn't been sleeping all week, hurts to lay down, hurts to sit up etc, hurts to move around, she can't keep her eyes open when you talk to her because she's that tired. The last few days her left rib cage area has gone black and blue. Thursday morning I took her to a GP around the corner form her parents place and he checks her out and said there is an x-ray clinic around the corner, so he sent us there and they sent back those results. Nothing she can do of course, she just has to be careful with the fluid in the lungs so she doesn't get an infection or pneumonia. She's livid as they did x-rays in Prosperine of everyone and now I am starting to wonder if they missed anything else in my girls. Not sure if we should get them x-rayed and CT scan again? Might just have to play it by ear to see how Caprice's back goes an Aria's headaches go. Here is a random news article Nicole just sent me. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks mate, Dad is still cool with the big girls but it's coming close where they won't want me around which will suck! But the little one is only 7 so i've got another good 6 years with her yet! She loves her Daddy!
Yes, get them imaged again Also, see if you can get an online link for all their imaging and send it to me and I’ll have a look. It would have all been reported on by rubbish Radiologist whom can’t get a job in a quality practice
Cheers man, I will let Nicole know and we will get it done. And ok, she's got hard copies I asked for but I didn't know you could get a link to them, they probably offered it but I wasn't listening.
