I finally got a chance to get together with some friends this weekend:

The Saleen S7TT - a beast. Scary quick. Sounds like a jet. Pulls very hard.
Diablo 6.0 SE - pretty rare car up here in Canuckia. Impressive as always.
Miura Corse Murcie - full Miura Corse effects and exhaust. Lots of bass.
Stock Murcie - that be me.

Great time with the usual suspects, and was even more fun with the TCS off!

Veeeeeeeerrrryyyy interested in your thoughts on the S7 after spending some time with it.

The car gets bashed incessantly around here, but I have always liked it, and rarely here any first hand information about it.

    Great pics too, btw!

Hey Leon, thanks. The sat levels look weird in the pics, but ah well, I never claimed to be a photographer.

The guy that owns the S7TT has had it tuned up to 850HP I believe. He also has a Murcie Roadster (and had a Murcie coupe and a Diablo Roadster) but found that nothing compared to the power of the S7TT. He said he is going to flog the engine for a while then when ready, is going to upgrade to the 1000HP unit.

I can tell you that off the line against my 03 6-speed Murcielago, it is only close for the first second. After that, he's gone. And I think it takes a good bit of driving to keep that rear from getting sideways, with all that power.

In the corners, it's like that classic Steve Saleen line from the one video. The mind is tricked into thinking that there is no way the car can enter and exit at those speeds. And yet it does.

It's a monster. While people may debate the controversial looks ad nauseum, I can tell you that on the asphalt it is very impressive.

My camera is a POS and all the pics were in 640 x 480. Sorry. WYSIWYG, unfortunately.

Nice pics. I never really paid much attention to the S7, but the new TT model is something else.

Wow, do you guys get any drive down here to Vancouver anytime soon?

Love that S7, Black tuned Murc looks amazing, too.

And Glenn, buy those 2005 rims from "your friend". and give him the 2003 rims for his Murc Roadster. lol

I actually asked him that and he said for me to keep smoking whatever I'm on. I took that as a maybe.

Yeah I think a Vancouver trip is possible. If we make it down to your neck of the woods I'll give you a head's up.

Revenue Canada must be rolling in their cubicles! "How did we let that much slip through our fingers!?"

Great to see some guys in the homeland living the dream.

Rev Can got such a bad rap a few years back they did a not-so-stealthy name change to The Canadian Revenue Agency - The CRA. Less oppressive, no?

Wait. Homeland - where you from?

I'm from Welland, Ontario. A blue collar steeltown of about 60,000, 10 miles across the border from Buffalo, famous for the Welland Canal that bypasses Niagara Falls.

Ah. That explains why I enjoy your posts. You're one of us.

Incidentally, how do I use post icons within the actual body of the text, versus simply in the title line?

nice line up you have there; i dont care where you go; seeing them all together in one place is rare... i have to admit, i prefer murcie styling in OEM form myself ;)

about the S7 :D !!good god, i still have yet to see one on the road... that ol' pushrod engine is so fargin amazing :)

unfortunately; i'm not quite so close to the Buffalo area; but i'm hoping to keep snapping a few cars about the summer; including one Green Murciealago. needless to say; i'll share the pictures here :)

    thanks for sharing Glen
