55 & Park. Ferrari Factory Showroom. Just a few streets up from the Waldorf. Not sure they are open in the weekend.

Car stuff store right off Park on 47 or 48 Street

Both are good suggestions. The car stuff store is called Exoticar.

Also try Manhattan Motorcars for some great vehicles on display.

NASCAR's been in the city this week. I think it might for their awards dinner. They did a pace lap around Times Square.

Manhattan Motorcars is on 28th Street and 11th Avenue. Rolls, Bentley, Lamborghini, Spyker (that is where mine came from), Lotus (also that one) and Porsche (and that). I guess I go there too often. Only open on Saturday.

I think that they want to focus on online sales, and I think that the rent got too high due to the locations of the stores. They also shut down the Beverly Hills store.

Anyway, to the orignal poster definately go to the Ferrari store on Park ave. They always have nice cars in the showroom, and should be opened on Saturday.

Makes sense. When they opened the NYC Store I thought it would not last long as the rent there must be NUTS!

    hello,

the ferari-maserati park avenue showroom is pretty cool. ruby 599 GTB, rosso corsa f430 spider, two quattroportes and the new maserati gran turismo. beautiful women dressed in all black working there. a visual joy, but since it's not really a dealership and ferrari sells every car it makes, i have to wonder what do those beautiful women who "work" there actually do? :)

    kind regards,

    joe.

So, weekend in NYC from Illinois. Other than going to the Ferrari showroom, what did you do to enjoy the city??

    hello,

i loved it! the waldorf was wonderful. my wife just loved shopping on 5th avenue. i was impressed by the classy holiday decorations and the festivities at rockefeller plaza. we walked thru central park and viewed john lennon's home. had tea in a quaint little resturaunt strait out of Alice in Wonderland. did more shoping on madison ave. saw the rocketts @ radio city music hall. my wife is more of a southern california girl... and i have to admit i love our visits to the hotel del cornado out there. however, manhattan is my new favorite place to visit. i can't wait to go back! :)

    Joe,

Glad to hear you had a great time. SoCal is great, ChiTown is windy (love the steaks and stuffed pizza), but there is no place like mid-town Manhattan around the holidays.

    Cheers,
    Steve
