    A band of rennlisters have decided to start up a regular exotic car meetup in toronto, inspired by the Crystal Cove type meet in california, which see millions of dollars of exotics meeting up once a week to chitchat and trade parts and info and basically hang out.

    It will be held at the Chapter's/Starbucks across from Sherway Gardens Mall on the Queensway between Hwy 427 & The West Mall. When you see the Chapter's building just come around back. Meet time is 10AM, so no need 2 wake up at the arse crack of dawn :)

    This saturday we had about 9 or 10 cars and we hope this can grow and encompass other brand of exotic cars, so pass the word onto your friends and colleagues and we hope to see you there!

    If someone could CC this message on the Lambo Forums, i'm not a member on there but it would be nice to bring some of them out!

    This is exactly what I have been crying about for at least 10 years. We dont see enough of this. I mean, we see every Tim Hortons packed with ricers every nite but thats not what I am talking about.

    Great to have a Gentleman's/woman's ;) meet which is well organized etc. Dead-eye thanks for the info!

    On another note there is the weekly Wednesday nite meet at that strip mall across from Dixie Value mall. Its mainly American Muscle but there are always a few surprises....including our own f-chatters classic Daytona!

    humm, im surprised Toronoto hasnt had one of these planned sooner, only because of the huge concentration of fchatters there and multitude of fcars and other such exotics! but thats nether here nor there since its happening now!!! good one!

    ^ this is not exclusivly a porsche meet but because a lot of porsche guys seem to be in the younger age bracket, i think it was easier to help start the idea with the rennlister group. All other exotics are welcome and we'd love to see ferrari's, lambo's, lotus's, jaguars, vintage models, lancia's....anything that doesn't start with an 'H' and end with an 'onda' lol :)

    those are acura's ;)

    the NSX is probably exotic enough, as are skylines and FD's....but the core of the meet should remain exotic...we've all seen mazda 3's, integras and camero's before.

    Since when are NSX's and skylines exotics???? There may not be many here in Canada but that makes them sort of rare, NOT exotic

    If you want exotics ONLY, then make no exceptions.

    Take the lead from the American Classic Car shows, they won't let you park anywhere near them, no matter what you drive. You show up in an Enzo and they would tell you to move on....LOL

    ^ i wouldn't kno about that...when i went 2 a hotrod show in burlington, they were curtious enough to let the porsche's park right next 2 the cobra's and Mustang Fastbacks :)

    Then again by that same logic the corvette isn't exotic either wouldn't you agree?

    WOW that's amazing, I've been too many American Classic Car Shows, and I wasn't allowed to park my Ferrari or Porsche anywhere near them, I had to park a couple of parking lots over. I guess you got the laid back crowd.


    That's right, the corvette isn't an exotic.

    OK FINE! NO Japanese cars...except for a few RX-7 1993-1995 that are for sale...because i'm looking to buy one :)

    anybody who has already been invited (kaz, and the fellow with the corvette who PMed me) can come because it would be very rude of me to uninvite them.

    Just remember guys, i'm not Jesus, moses or Mohammed, i can't magically part the sea of common cars to make room for you guys and i'm just too laid back and nice to tell ppl 2 leave once they get there, so the best way to keep out cars you don't want around is to PM the location around to other exotic owners and don't tell the other car groups :)

    Dead-Eye,

    I didn't want to come off as an arrogant prick, it's just I didn't understand the whole point of having an exotic car meet but then also allowing only CERTAIN other non-exotics. Either you have a car meet allowing everyone or you make it specific (just exotics, honda's, BMW's etc).

    Before anyone says anything, I have nothing against NSX's, RX-7's, Corvette's etc, they're all fun cars to drive and I attend any kind of car meet I can, I'm a car enthusiast.
