After locking thr car with remote or key, the alarm goes off. Pretty embarrassing. Lucky I'm in a safe country that i can chose to not lock the car. Anyone experience this problem before? Is it cause by low battery voltage? The car is driven every 2 days, not on tender.

I’ve had that issue on BMWs when the hood tilt switch or interior motion sensor malfunctions. I think there’s a button on the top console to disable the motion sensor which would let you rule that out.

I've had the alarm go off in my 458 and my wife's Portofino M in one particular parking spot. at a place I visit regularly. I think it was wind related. Each time the alarm went off three or four times while I was trying to walk away so I know nothing was happening to it, but it was a fairly windy day and I was parked near the ocean.

Take a look at pages 17 - 19 in the manual you can possibly figure out what is going wrong, the left TFT screen should display a code for alarm memory, but I never saw any code in the display:

The easy solution for me in the 458 is to lock the door with the physical key and NOT hit the lock button. The car is locked, but the alarm system is not engaged. I've done that a few times when I was worried the alarm would go off.
