    It's a challenge clutch cooler. Scoops air from under the car into the clutch housing.

    What he said. The clutch bell housing is the same underneath, the scoop bolts on over it.

    If they did the full Challenge modification it will have a number of rather large holes in the bell housing to take advantage of the extra air.

    Why would you want to take it off? It is a good functional mod unlike the bling crap most do.

    Funny they don't have a challenge grille if they went to the trouble of a clutch cooler.

    This is THE ORIGINAL 355 Clutch cooler duct housing... whatever you want to call it. Super rare. The newer version looks much different, but I’m sure functions the same.

    It comes on VERY early 95 cars (probably only U.S). My car came with it :). My car is a May 1994 build.

    Mine was Nov 94 and no air scoopy thing either.
