Most people seem to think it's weird anyway.

I don't chew Chips Ahoy cookies, I let them sit in my mouth until the cookie dough disintegrates and melts in my mouth and then I chew on the chocolate chips. Yeah, pretty weird.

I put the ketchup on the side of my plate and dip the burger into it.

I'm also paranoid about food mixing. Peas got in the gravy? For me, a disaster.

Hey PeterS, I have a tip for you. Doing low carb, you miss bread right? Take an american cheese slice, put it on a glass dish and microwave it for about 1 minute (give or take 10 seconds). It will turn into a crispy cracker and not be "cheesey" at all.

Then you can spread on some tuna-and-mayo. Each "sandwich" is only 2-3 carbs! And they taste great - and are a great substitute for bread.

in high school there was a girl who would have to smell her food everytime she would take a bite. I guess it was like an OCD thing or something.

I'm going to try the cheese as bread as I get more serious about my diet. I started eating less carbs but still drink a lot of cokes all day. I have actually gained weight over the past few weeks so the cokes are going to have to be phased out.

None of my food can ever be touching on a plate. I call it nutrition segregation. I also have to always eat 2 pieces of fruit within 5 minutes of each other except when its grapes or some type of melon. I also have to eat things in pairs. If I'm just cheerios with my hand, I have to always eat two at a time. I think it is really weird.

Growing up my mother sent peanut butter and mayo sandwiches to school for lunch. Sometimes she would also put strawberry jam on them as well. Sounds gross and I'm too old to get my calories this way, but just writing it down makes my mouth water. I loved them.

It's a can of Safeway Select Diet Orange. I drink these like water.

Ps: The pick is small for all FChatter's with dialup!

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately there are no Safeways here.

I am going to try some different diet sodas but I may just start drinking a lot of water. I did low carb with only water one summer and dropped about 15 pounds pretty quickly.

    Good luck with your diet.
