    (posted this last weekend on a 928 forum, but figured you guys might appreciate it too...)

    This idea suddenly popped into my head a couple months ago as my wife was driving me to the airport on my way to get the 928 I had just purchased on eBay.

    I realized that once I got the car home I would have the necessary ingredients for a little tribute to the scene in Weird Science where the Porsche and Ferrari are shown together.

    Well on Friday the weather was beautiful and I had the day off, so I finally gave it a try. Admittedly the S4 and 355F1 are newer models than the cars in the film, but I think it came out all right:

    Yeah I thought about that, but that would mean the cars are disappearing, and I want these to stick around for a good long time! The 928 is nostalgic for me since I had one back in the '80s...

    It's perfect that the ! lights up on the watch, as EVERY 928 I've ever driven has that icon illuminated!!
