We had some nice weather today and I took the wife out to dinner in the 355. About 5 miles down the road the SDL light came on solid (96 spider 6spd). Car never missed a beat. After another mile or so the light went out. Never came back on.

When I first got the car a year or so ago I had SDL issues and thanks to DrBob I got it sorted and I haven't had that light flicker at all for a long time. I replaced a TC and two ecu's.

I haven't heard of a solid SDL and the car not dropping one bank. Any else ever have this? Just curious.

Was the light on the side with the new TC or the old one? If the latter, I'm guessing you have your answer.

my car is a 5.2 with one SDL light, so I dont know which bank was giving the error. I will check for any pending codes. My wild guess is a TC, as all my ecus are green potted ones.

I just havent heard of a solid SDL light and no cutting out of one bank of cylinders. That is what I thought was weird.

Ernest my guess would be an intermittent issue with a TC. Maybe the issue was momentary and thus no shut down?

If you want to dial it in see exactly what's going on tap the outputs and drive around with a DVOM and watch it real time.

Pull the code, it could be one of 600 plus faults, you won't know unless you pull it. Could be a stored or pending code. Report back

Thanks guys. I pulled the codes and had P1445 as pending. No other codes. I THINK that is bank 1 cat temp. I will check wiring, TC, and ecu.
