sounds corny but I like them all. I had a boxster S, 3 cayennes (including a Turbo Gemballa 600 GT), and a 997 C4S X51 cab arriving next month. I've got my eye on the CGT. They are great reliable cars, fun to drive, dont worry about them too much. So far my fav has been the CT, for its down-n-dirty power, but looking forward to the 997.

Actually A Z06 is nothing to take for granted on the street. All of our cars are great and we all have one thing in common.........we all love to drive them

awesome to see the 911/997 win the battle. thank god it was not a speed contest like most magazines.

what i liked about this test is the well-rounded aspect they were looking for, it was not about 0-60's or 1/4 mile times.

and with that i will say...

    best porsche ever...'97 993 turbo s

this article is ridiculous, how can they test reliability on a survey for cars that have been out for only a few months. (Like sl550 and z06).

"Of the 14 cars tested, only three actually got a "Recommended" check mark from the magazine. To be recommended a car must have good crash test scores and good "Predicted Reliability" as calculated by the magazine from its own survey data.

The Nissan 350Z, BMW Z4 and Lexus SC430 were recommended. Those cars finished in the bottom half of the point rankings, however."

    LOL i wonder why.

I agree and am happy they incorporated everything into its decision (testing wise) and not just from who was the fastest out there, Porsche's are amazing, but like I always say each car has something to offer over another!

BTW I haven't driven a 993tt and I am very curious how it compared to my 996tt stock for stock, although if I could have any older or any Porsche I general it would be a 993 GT2 :) I hate awd!

Well, I agree Pcars are great and all, but I think the new Vette Z06 is awesome and I think its outright BS to rate it low on reliability and exclude it when its reliability is only predicted. Whatever!

Oh, and where was Ferrari in all of this? Well, predicted reliability would definitely put it out of the rankings too - haha :p
