    the ones that needed to be sold were none that I would have wanted
    it took us quite awhile to asemble the list of recommended vehicles to sell.....very sad times :(
    but many were duplicates and development cars that were just not necessary to hold on to


    some had to be sold without the ability to get a registration that would allow them to be licensed for the street................. GM legal was all over that
    the showcars & development cars in particular

    The PPG Syclone has been on eBay recently, and that's probably the one factor making it a tough sale. The gentleman that bought it from the auction also picked up several other GM Heritage cars at the same time.
    I also met the guy who bought the Malibu Xtreme, and the yellow supercharged Sunfire. I believe he managed to get them registered in AK, so I don't know if those ones got scrap titles or not.

    remember all those cars
    just because they can't get valid street licenses,doesn't mean they couldn't be driven .....:)

    depends where & when you want to drive it i guess

    I'm sure there are loopholes in certain states that can be used to make registration possible, but that sort of thing seems to be getting consistently more difficult to do as the DMVs update the way they do things.
    I'd buy the PPG Syclone if I had the cash, but that's something that would be better suited at shows or in a collection than as a driver.

    Truth be told many of those cars weren't keeping IMHO. There were 4 door versions of cars that we should have had 2 door versions of, some of the mules/development cars were of questionable worth,and several of the one off SEMA cars were just plain goofy (my opinion).When we made our recommendations for which cars could be sold we were very careful not to suggest the ones that were really necessary to retain for serious historical significance.

    After all,there were over 900 cars......that we knew of :)

    There were just too many to really pay attention to,so many just sat under covers in huge warehouses
