Went to court today and found out that no matter where you live or have the car registered a ticket can be issued, even if legal in your state. I went there today and after I was told this, I had the tints removed with out a fine thank goodness. I was told that you are "legally" to abide by the laws and rules of the state you are in, even if legal in your state. Guess that ends the question of the matter.

Maybe this was mentioned already. But does this mean that somehow i have to fabricate and put a front plate on my Florida car when i'm in NY? Or does this just apply to tinted windows?

My friend who lives down in Maryland was telling me about how his friends got tickets for no front plates even though the state in which their car was registered didn't require them
