    Hi just wanted to introduce myself to the 360/430 section. Some of you may remember me from years of being a member here on F-chat, I use be a proud 348 spider owner ;).

    I was a very active member till I was seduced by the Darkside (Lamborghini Diablo Roadster). To be clear I still am in the Darkside but now want to be good, I am like Luke struggling to be good but oh so like to be bad :cool:

    I have always remained on F-chat as more of lurker, I poped up here and there occasionally.

    But I am proud to say I am back with the purchase of a F430 spider added to my stable :). I still own and absolutely love my Diablo Roadster, but felt it is time to be with a blonde and a brunette :D life is waaaay to short not to be.

    I will post pics upon it's arrival, hopefully before snow falls here in Canada. I'm sure I will have lots of questions in the meantime, and I will do my best to contribute to this section.

    Welcome back. Like you, I have an F-Car (16M) and a Lambo (Gallardo Spider) and love them both.

    I too had a Diablo Roadster and 430 spider in my stable for many years, although the 430 is now replaced with the 458.
    They compliment each other really well. Congratulations!

    Thanks everyone, feels good to be a Ferrari owner again :cool: I still have to wait for delivery and alas pics will follow. What I can tell you is that it's Grigio in color, black interior with grey stitch, lots of carbon fibre everywhere with F1 tranny (ooh I just think I wet myself talking about it).

    Now most of you that know me might remember I am no purist, I like to change and modify my cars (with taste mind you) this will be no exception. I ordered a carbon fibre rear spoiler, will be changing the entire exhaust system including headers and high performance cats, I will delete a set all together. Really considering getting the electric lift system for the front end, I really enjoy and use the one on my Lamborghini lots, and I heard the 430 scrapes the front end all the time.



    Answer of few of your questions:

    I to looked at a 458 but to be honest I thought it would be so incredibly EPIC that it would take away my love and enjoyment of the DR, so I chose the 430 instead.

    Yes it might be some time before I get to really drive the car as snow is just around the corner.
