I could barely comprehend what that first woman in the tower was saying. Guess you guys get used to accents.

Didn't your mother tell you to wear a coat when you go out???? :)

Did a couple go around 2-3 times?

Airplanes flying sideways at Narita again - seems to happen quite often. When they laid the place out, they should have aligned the runways about 30 degrees to the right of where they did!

That's the highest percentage of go-arounds I've ever seen in a video of this type. And these were all large airplanes - just think what it would have been like in a 737!

Yes, that is my question as well to Lou747. You do most of your flying in the Far East and the accents are strong. How do you distinguish what they are saying, with your lives and a million pounds of aircraft and cargo on the line? Thanks!

The Japanese are pretty easy to understand. Now Chinese controllers can be difficult.

Yeah, it's the Chinese that are difficult. I hate flying into Shanghai because of ATC.

You should hear Iraqi controllers. They don't even know what they're supposed to tell you, much less when they do say something correct, have it make sense.

French female controllers were the best. Fell in love with them just from their voices on a regular basis.

Yeah, but for windshear the gear stays down and the flaps stay at landing flaps.
