Looks like a very nice car for the price of a new suped-up Camry. Do the belt yourself and you have beautiful Ferrari for bit more than 33K. Someone hurry!

Now that's a rarity, a legal Euro car in California!!! Looks to be well taken care of.

It's a beautiful car - I am appreciating the Euro cars much more.

Someone educate me - aren't the Euro cars better performers than their US counterparts or is that a myth?

You trying to pick a fight???? LOL!

They lack door crash beams and the bumpers are plastic, so they are "somewhat quicker".

OTOH, after a collision, you will stand the chance of being "somewhat hurter..."

The MAIN exposure of a Euro car is any difference in parts have to be noted when ordering, and you should make sure the Legal Import paperwork (EPA/DOT) is in shape, and accompanies any sale of the vehicle.

This is a VERY nice car, and it is indeed rare to have it CA Smog Certified.

It's true, the bumpers are fiberglass and weigh about 5 lbs each.

As to the performance of the Euro vs US cars. I have gone head to head with a US 328 and I easily overtook him. The car is about 300 pounds lighter than a US car. Much prettier also, IMO.

I was able to determine from a friend with FNA that this car was originally sold in Italy.

The car has all paperwork for US/Cali legality.

I have never had any issues getting parts for the car since 98% of the parts are the same for US or Euro.

Absolutely, it's really 'no big deal' as long as the car was imported properly, in the day....

I love your car. It's simply wonderful. I own a 1983 QV with 52.000 miles, for sure I would like to sell mine and to buy this one! It's possible to have this wonderful shot in the original big size? I love it. I like planes and the 308, so is the best combo in a shot!

    Cheers

Did you checked out at or offered $25K for a rusted 308 from Florida??? Why not check out this California car out for a little bit more?

    Michael,

I'm very sad to hear. Are you not driving it at all? Maybe we can do one more cruise/brunch. I've thought about selling my carb'd car and getting yours, too bad I'm not working right now.

The '80-'82 GTSi's are the fastest of the bunch. I went up against an Enzo and passed him easily.

Beautiful car, and such a lowball price - even if belts weren't replaced yet. This should go rather quickly.

Boat??? It's more like the Titanic, and some other guy stole my bucket, but it's OK because it was full of holes anyway.

I sold my Benz and my Ford, so now my 308 is my daily driver, except I don't go anywhere daily. I hope that light at the end of the tunnel isn't an oncoming train :)

We don't need buckets, any more, in Detroit. We have so many engineers out of work they've displaced all the water.

Good luck to the two of you. I hope things turn around, for you, soon.

Yes, I did check out a rusty 328 in Florida.

I am looking at another Euro QV at the moment.
