Nice car, congrats on the purchase !!!

I've been seeing quite a few Elise and Exige on the roads the past few weeks, now that the nice weather is here..

Details on the car - new or used, private sale or dealer ? Any mods or options ?

While color doesn't make it go faster, that is the best color choice.

    Thanks guys,

2005 Elise, 6K miles finished in Nightfall Blue over Tan. She has both Sport package and Touring package. The Sport package adds the sport suspension, lightweight wheels and eliminates power windows. The Touring package adds Hard Top and soft top, adds the power windows and stero. I have a lotus stage II exhaust coming for it and will be installed by the dealership.

I bought it from Aston Martin - Lotus of New England in Waltham.

Steve and the crew at AML of NE are good people. Just make sure you don't do with it like a car I saw there recently and crash it - apparently that Elise had been crashed for a 3rd (or perhaps 4th time) and the insurance company had declined to fix it again :)

Yeah Pat showed that one to me. Apparently the owner has had a string of bad luck with the car. I've taken the approach of driving like its a motorcycle. Being more aware of others around me and making sure they see me before the pull out etc.

I used to race an RSV Mille'. I sold it years ago though, I did own it when I first signed on to Fchat. It was a fantastic motorcycle. Thanks for the well wishes.
